In the latest Mobile Experience Snapshot for Switzerland, Swisscom won in all five metrics tested, including the highest Excellent Consistent Quality at 88.8% and fastest download speeds at 37.2 Mbps.
Swisscom leads Excellent Consistent Quality
In Common Coverage Areas across Switzerland, Swisscom had the highest Excellent Consistent Quality with 88.8% of subscribers having a network experience suitable for use-cases like 1080p video streaming, real-time mobile gaming or HD video calling. Salt was in second place with 85.0%, followed by Sunrise at 82.9%.
For Core Consistent Quality, meaning subscribers having a network experience suitable for use-cases like SD video streaming, social media sharing and web browsing, all three operators reached the 90% threshold with Swisscom narrowly out in front with the highest Core Consistent Quality at 94.9%. Salt was in second place with 94.4%, while Sunrise was in third place with 92.01%.

Swisscom leads for fastest speeds
Swisscom had a strong lead over the competition in the download speed test with a median transfer speed of 37.2 Mbps. Sunrise was 8.8 Mbps slower than Swisscom and placed second with 28.4 Mbps, followed closely by Salt at 28.2 Mbps.
In the upload speed test, the competition was much tighter with Swisscom out in front again with a median transfer speed of 15.8 Mbps, followed by Salt at 10.1 Mbps, and Sunrise in third with 9.7 Mbps.
Swisscom had best one-way latency result
Swisscom may have had the most responsive network in Common Coverage Areas across Switzerland with a one-way latency result of 11.8 ms; however, very little separated each operator from reaching the top spot in this latency test, with Salt and Sunrise statistically tied with a one-way result just over 12 ms.
