Rome
In Common Coverage Areas across Rome, Vodafone had the highest Excellent Consistent Quality percentage with 86.2% of tests good enough for applications like HD video calling, movie streaming, or mobile gaming. 3 and TIM tied for second place overall by only 3.4% for an Excellent Consistent Quality percentage of 82.8%. In third place, Wind had an Excellent Consistent Quality percentage of 81.2%, and Iliad in fourth with 76.8%, 9.4% behind first place Vodafone.
For Core Consistent Quality, all five operators reached the 90% threshold with Vodafone in the lead with 98.2%. With a difference of only 1.1.%, TIM was in second place for a Core Consistent Quality percentage of 97.1%, followed by 3 at 96.5%, Wind at 96.2%, and Iliad in fourth with 95.8%.

In the speed test, TIM had the fastest median download and upload speed in Rome with 20.7 Mbps and 10.3 Mbps, respectively. Vodafone had the second fastest download speed at 20.6 Mbps, however the operator had the fourth fastest upload speed at 7.5 Mbps, missing out to both 3 and Wind with speeds of 8.5 Mbps and 8.3 Mbps, respectively.
Iliad had the slowest median download speed in Rome with 13.8 Mbps, 6.9 Mbps slower than first place TIM. The operator also had the slowest median upload speed in Rome with 6.7 Mbps, 3.6 Mbps slower than TIM.
Milan
In Common Coverage Areas across Milan, TIM had the highest Excellent Consistent Quality percentage with 88.3%. Vodafone was in second place with only a difference of 1.2% for an Excellent Consistent Quality percentage of 87.1%. In third place, 3 had an Excellent Consistent Quality percentage of 86.2%, followed by Wind with 84.4%, and Iliad with 77.0%, 11.3% behind first place TIM.
TIM also had both the fastest median download and upload speed in Milan. For download, TIM had a median transfer speed of 31.1 Mbps, 18.2 Mbps faster than last place Iliad at 12.9 Mbps. For upload, TIM had a median transfer speed of 14.5 Mbps, 7.3 Mbps faster than last place Iliad.
Naples
In Common Coverage Areas across Naples, 3/Wind had the highest Excellent Consistent Quality percentage at 84.3%. The difference in performance between the other operators were small, with last place TIM only 4.8% behind first place 3.
For Core Consistent Quality, the difference in performance was again small with Wind in first place for a Core Consistent Quality percentage of 97.0%, and last place Iliad only 1% behind.
In the speed test, 3 had the fastest median download speed in Naples with 20.6 Mbps, 4.7 Mbps faster than last place Vodafone. 3 however lost out to TIM by only 2.4 Mbps in the upload speed test, with TIM taking out the top spot for a median transfer speed of 11.2 Mbps.
