We collected over 3.36 billion mobile network measurements including over 280 thousand speed tests in Colombia during December, January and February. Our latest complimentary Mobile Experience Report is available to download, here is a summary of the top findings.

Tigo fastest speeds

Tigo delivered the fastest average download and upload speeds in our tests across both 3G and 4G followed by Movistar.

Claro 4G network shows highest stability  

Analysis of the data shows that Claro is providing the best overall experience to subscribers when speed, latency, jitter and packet loss are factored together –  with an average packet loss of less than 1% and average jitter of less than 4.4ms.

Claro leapfrogs Movistar in Antioquia

Although Tigo delivered the highest average across Colombia, in our regional analysis we saw some differences. Our results show Claro take second place from Movistar when looking at 4G speeds in Antioquia.
