We took over 3 billion mobile network measurements in Chile during December, January and February to measure mobile network quality experience. Our latest complementary Mobile Experience Report is available to download, here is a summary of the top findings. 

WOM fastest overall download speed

Analysis of the data shows that WOM are delivering the fastest average speed to its subscribers. WOM ranked the highest when analysing results from both 3G and 4G network speed tests.

However, speed alone does not tell the full story of network quality. We saw WOM suffered from worse than average packet loss at close to 2% on 4G, while Entel’s and Claro’s loss was less than 1% on average.

Entel continues to dominate 4G performance, delivering significantly above the others.
