In the latest Mobile Experience Snapshot, Claro had both the highest Excellent and Core Consistent Quality in the country. The operator was statistically tied with Personal for both fastest upload speeds and most responsive 4G network.

Claro leads Consistent Quality 

In Common Coverage Areas across Argentina, Claro had the highest Excellent Consistent Quality with 77.4% of connections having a network experience suitable for use-cases like 1080p video streaming, real-time mobile gaming and HD video calling. With a difference in performance of 2.5%, Personal was second place, while Movistar was in third place with an Excellent Consistent Quality of 46.8%, 30.6% behind first place Claro. 

For Core Consistent Quality, Tutela’s metric for when a connection is good enough for web browsing, social media sharing and SD video streaming, no operator reached the 90% threshold; however, Claro was the closest with a Core Consistent Quality of 88.9%. In second place, Personal had a Core Consistent Quality of 85.2%, and Movistar was in third place with 65.1%.

Personal had fastest download speed, tied with Claro for uploads

In the speed test, Personal had the fastest median download speed at 20.4 Mbps, 2.8 Mbps faster than second place Claro, and 7.5 Mbps faster than third place Movistar. 

Both Personal and Claro statistically tied for first place in the upload speed test, while Movistar trailed behind with a median upload speed of 5.8 Mbps. 

Claro and Personal in the lead on 4G network

In the latency test, both Claro and Personal statistically tied for first place with a result on a 4G network of just over 30 ms, while Movistar had a median one-way latency of 38.5 ms.
